The mighty Humpback Whale can often be seen breaching and feeding on Herring and Krill off the West Cork Coast in Summer. They grow up to 15 metres in length and can weigh up to 30,000 kilos. Since 2019 there have been over 90 different individuals identified by photographs in Irish Waters.
