John-Dory-Print
David Norman - Atlantic_Fish_Art, collection, present this first series of nine prints. Having fished for 40 years and guided for the last ten, David re-discovered his artistic side during the Covid lockdowns.
Here he offers a series of prints, each 8"x6", mounted, 10" x 8". The prints are from original work created by David, using Faber-Castell Polychromo Coloured Pencils. They are printed on 310gm paper using the Giclee Fine Art process.
David Norman is based in Clonakilty, West Cork.
John Dory - The John Dory or St Peter's Fish is a small coastal marine fish. They hide in kelp near the seabed and have an olive-yellow body with a large dark spot on their sides.
The dark spot is used to flash an 'evil eye' if danger approaches which confuses its prey and is also said to be the thumb print of St Peter.
